Harvest Festival tea party& Farmer's Market as community outreach is popular with whole Terra Nova community

Year 4 Terra Nova students recently hosted a Harvest Festival tea party followed by a Farmer's Market. The students sang to and served tea to an audience of 50 comprising of visitors from sheltered accommodation in Holmes Chapel and the students' own grandparents. A medley of songs were performed, including 'Cauliflowers fluffy' as soon as the audience had arrived. A delicious afternoon tea of sandwiches, cake and tea was served by Year 4 students as they circulated the room chatting to and looking after their guests.  Terra Nova's Chamber Choir then performed to a rapt audience before also mingling with the guests. 

As soon as the concert was complete, it was time for guests to peruse the Farmer's Market stall holders. Our grateful thanks to:

All of the above sold from stalls set up in the Performing Arts centre and at pick up time, the whole school community came to buy some Friday after school treats!
